Abstract Green synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles was carried out using Prosopis juliflora bark extract and Cordia dichotoma leaf with acetate precursor in the presence 2 M NaOH solution. The prepared were characterized by Powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), UV-visible absorption spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Photoluminescence (PL) to study its structural optical properties. studies confirmed hexagonal wurtzite phase samples an average crystallite size calculated Scherrer equation 38.22 nm 29.95 for mediated (PJZ) (CDZ) NPs respectively. Williamson-Hall modified form uniform deformation model (UDM), stress (USDM) energy-density (UDEDM) determine micro-strain ZnO nanomaterials. Tauc’s plot method revealed energy gap value 2.86 eV PJZ sample 2.95 CDZ due quantum confinement effect. FTIR spectra recorded ascertain biomolecules involved green synthesis. PL showed a strong UV emission peak around 370 visible broad band at 554 which is singly ionized oxygen vacancies. An effective prepare nanomaterials efficient antioxidant potential reported this study. current has also demonstrated that small particle responsible significant antibacterial activity against both gram-positive gram-negative bacteria.
