Abstract
In
order
to
meet
the
requirements
of
a
multi-beam
splitter
in
optical
communication
systems,
an
efficient
infrared
nine-channel
reflective
polarization-dependent
beam
based
on
addition-shaped
ridge
structure
is
proposed.
All
structural
parameters
this
are
derived
from
rigorous
coupled-wave
analysis.
Upon
vertical
entry
plane
wave
with
wavelength
800
nm
into
grating,
for
transverse
magnetic
polarization,
diffraction
efficiencies
10.66%,
10.69%,
10.65%,
and
10.67%
at
0th,
±1st,
±2nd,
±3rd
±4th
orders,
respectively.
For
electric
orders
10.79%,
10.86%,
10.88%,
10.84%,
addition,
tolerance
analysis
paper
reveals
practicality
efficiency
splitter.
Therefore,
has
good
performance
uniformity
broad
application
prospects
applications.

Abstract
A
new
seven-channel
transmission
grating
with
plus-shaped
array
under
normal
incidence
is
proposed
and
discussed
in
this
paper.
Through
the
simulated
annealing
(SA)
algorithm
rigorous
coupled-wave
analysis
(RCWA),
novel
microstructure
can
split
incident
energy
into
0-th/±1-st/±2-nd/±3-rd
orders
evenly.
The
influence
of
angle,
period,
wavelength,
other
parameters
on
diffraction
efficiency
are
also
analyzed
For
transverse
magnetic
(TM)
polarization,
range
period
3062–3246
nm
bandwidth
angle
wavelength
1.96°
32.3
nm,
respectively.
It
be
concluded
that
TM-polarized
light
designed
has
a
good
performance
fabrication
tolerance.
In
addition,
electric
(TE)
polarization
satisfactory
uniformity
2.40%.
Therefore,
certain
significance
for
research
multi-port
beam
splitter,
especially
polarization-independent
splitter.
