Highly portable nanoelectronics and large-scale electronics rely on lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) as the most reliable energy storage technology. This method is thought to be both environmentally friendly cost-effective. We provide a study of low-cost, abundant, renewable supply carbon-based biomass with potential uses in LIBs. Renewable feedstocks have received significant attention recent decades promising tools for efficient alternative anode materials Researchers can synthesise carbon-rich biochar through pyrolytic process biomass. Depending synthetic process, precise surface chemistry, textural qualities such specific area porosity, this material customised favour application-specific properties preferred application. In research, we look at performance LIBs, its properties, supply, discuss prospects these biomass-derived devices.

The ponds are the important water resources for developing nations including rural India. They not only supply during non-monsoon period but also acts as a flood absorber monsoon period. However, with increase in population, modernization, and alternate schemes, getting polluted mainly due to discharge of wastewater from residential areas, sewage outlets, solid waste dump sites, livestock rearing sites (e.g., dairy, poultry), fertilizers pesticides farmers' fields. sludge accumulated these bodies may contain an appreciable amount toxic metals that leach groundwater long-term use contaminated water, either directly or nearby handpumps tubewells, can cause serious threats human health. This study investigated nine heavy metal (Pb, Cu, Ni, Zn, Cr, Cd, Fe, As, Mn) contamination pond sludge, soil, at twenty-one villages Western Uttar Pradesh (India), provides sound case examining accumulation terrestrial bodies. mean concentration Pb, As Mn was 0.64, 0.53, 0.94, 3.34, 0.62, 0.010, 151.70, 0.32, 35.02 mg/kg respectively, soil were 0.13, 0.45, 1.21, 0.82, 3.22, 0.06, 2055.04, 0.16, 457.84 respectively. geo-accumulation index (I-geo) ranged unpolluted extremely polluted. average I-geo values order Pb (4.93) > Zn (4.36) Ni (0.70) Cu (0.40) (0.32) Cd (-0.58) Cr (-1.96) Fe (-4.24) (-5.28) (2.76) (2.35) (2.17) (2.01) (1.53) (-0.22) (-0.49) (-0.78) (-1.41), combined ecological risk extended low very high risk. samples observed non-comply drinking standards levels Mn, health hazard 0.831 21.76. highlights value baseline monitoring ecosystem toxicity before rejuvenation such India other sub-tropical countries.

Inland water bodies (particularly ponds) emit a significant amount of greenhouse gases (GHGs), particularly methane (CH4), carbon dioxide (CO2), and comparatively low nitrous oxide (N2O) to the atmosphere. In recent decades, ponds (<10,000 m2) probably account for about 1/3rd global lake perimeter are considered hotspot GHG emissions. High nutrients waterlogged conditions provide an ideal environment CH4 production emission. The rate emissions differs according climatic regions is influenced by several biotic abiotic factors, such as temperature, (C, N, & P), pH, dissolved oxygen, sediments, depth, etc. Moreover, micro macro planktons play role in CO2 from systems. Generally, freshwater bodies, produced N2O diffuses converted into N2 gas through different biological processes. There other factors mechanisms which significantly affect emission need comprehensive evaluation. This study aims develop decisive understanding mechanisms, processes, methods measurement ponds. Key affecting will also be discussed. review highly useful environmentalists, policymakers, resources planners managers take suitable mitigation measures advance so that impact could reduced future.
