Increasing the efficiency of a power plant by optimization or repowering has always been crucial challenge for energy analysts. At same time as natural resources are limited, integration renewable sources such solar prioritized past few decades. This study presents way enhancing thermal with regenerative reheating Rankine cycle, evaluating impact solar-powered heat exchangers on feed water heating at 200 MW single unit Shahid Montazeri Power Plant operating 13 MPa and 540 °C. Increases in energy-exergy efficiencies, output fuel save due to this modification have studied 14 different cases which analyzed Engineering Equation Solver (EES). The case studies cover replacing single, double, triple Feed Water Heaters (FWH). Parametric analysis four most promising performed varying conditions main steam reheat temperature pressure condensation pressure. In favorable configuration (case 12), net increases 225 while exergy 39.73 % 43.99 respectively. Exergy loss across major components presented well indicates room further improvement contributes valuable insights sustainable efficient solutions future.
