The present study reports an aggregation-induced emission enhancement (AIEE) luminogen (AIEEgen) NPL derived by condensing equimolar amount of vitamin B6 cofactor pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (PLP) and 3-hydroxy-2-naphthohydrazide. AIEE characteristics was explored in mixed DMSO-HEPES buffer (pH 7.4, 10 mM) medium. weakly yellow emissive DMSO turns to cyan as the fractions HEPES (fHEPES) increased from 10% 95% DMSO. results dynamic light scattering (DLS) scanning electron microscope (SEM) analysis supported formation self-aggregates NPL. When fluorescence spectral changes AIEEgen (fHEPES 95%, λex = 370 nm, λem 485 nm) were examined adding different drugs, presence ciprofloxacin levofloxacin intensity found UV-Vis absorption, DLS, zeta potential SEM new complex species between selective drugs. detection limits for estimated low 2.84 0.21 μM, respectively. Additionally, analytical usefulness investigated quantifying real human blood serum.
