The Phytochemical composition and bioactivity of an ethanolic extract Parmelia perlata were analyzed in this study using established procedures. revealed a rich array phytochemicals, showcasing its diverse composition, notably exhibited strong antioxidant activity according to the 1, 1-diphenyl-2- picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) test. Furthermore, research explored extract’s potential preventing Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) denaturation, comparing it with well-known medication Diclofenac. concentration-dependent inhibition BSA denaturation by P. was comparable effects observed diclofenac on BSA. demonstrated antibacterial against gram-negative gram-positive bacterial isolates. While gentamicin served as positive control larger zones inhibition, displayed significant efficacy all six tested organisms. Moreover, vitro testing human ovarian (PA-1) cell lines anticancer potential. A reduction viability, culminating lowest percentage at 1000 µg/ml, observed. IC50 value 31.2 µg/mL showed that strongly inhibited PA-1 line. This confirmed changes cellular morphology when exposed higher concentrations extract. Further, subjected various evaluate embryotoxicity zebrafish embryos. concentration determined have safety limit less than 50 µg/L. In summary, has emerged promising natural resource, exhibiting spectrum bioactivities, including potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, properties, embryonic toxicology study. These findings suggest utility pharmaceutical applications is warranted, further exploration development are being suggested.
