Increasing interest has been devoted to the seeds of amaranth, a plant that garnered attention for its multifaceted uses in daily life. In this research, we focused on four genotypes two amaranth species cultivated different sites southwest France. Oil content, fatty acid composition, and unsaponifiable levels were carried out. The lipid composition was analyzed using Gas Chromatography with Flame Ionization Detection (GC-FID) analysis. total polyphenol contents (TPC) seed extracts measured by Folin–Ciocalteu assay. Antioxidants cytotoxic activities additionally assessed methanol (70%), ethyl acetate, cyclohexane extracts. Results showed oil content varied greatly ranged from 4.3 6.4%. Lera at Riscle had highest squalene yield, reaching 7.7%. Linoleic oleic most abundant acids sites, followed palmitic acid. Triglycerides (TAGs) main glycerides all samples growing both sites. A 44 volatile compounds identified Amaranthus chemical compositions have discussed as influenced genetic environmental factors. These data highlight bioactive potential seed.

Growth of renewable plant‐based cellulosic fiber is vital for a sustainable future. Natural fibers are important sustainability since they and biodegradable have minimal environmental effect. Extracting these benefits environmentally friendly companies by providing alternatives to synthetic products, lowering carbon footprints, reusing agricultural waste. This article describes newly produced unique natural made from Amaranthus viridis (AVFs) using hot water 5% NaOH retting. ASTM standards been used evaluate the fiber’s hygroscopic behavior, density, bundle strength, burning chemical components. X‐ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, Fourier‐transform infrared, burn test, thermogravimetric analysis tests assess crystallinity, arrangement, biological classification, combustion activity, temperature sensitivity substances materials. The extracted AVF with high cellulose content comprises 46.54% has mean moisture recovery percentage 22.49% 18.35%, accordingly. suggested tensile strength 10.23 g/tex breaking extension 1.35 mm got crystallinity 41%. degrades at 595°C. predominantly cellulose‐based, great retention recovery, strong thermal stability (degrades 595°C). It possesses moderate that balances flexibility, although it less elastic (low extension). appropriate management applications but not ones require lot stretch. several applications, including materials, nanoparticles, fiber‐reinforced composites.
