The conversion of carbon dioxide (CO2), a major greenhouse gas, into light olefins is crucial for mitigating environmental impacts and utilizing non-petroleum-based feedstocks. Thermo-catalytic CO2 transformation valuable chemicals offers promising solution to this challenge. This study investigates the effect potassium (K) manganese (Mn) promoters on C2H4 selectivity over CoFe-ZSM-5 zeolites. Structural characterization via FTIR, pyridine-FTIR, PXRD confirmed successful incorporation K Mn at 80°C without significant structural changes zeolite framework. BET analysis revealed that metal did not substantially alter surface area, while SEM TEM analyses preservation ZSM-5 spherical morphology. Fixed-bed reactor experiments conducted 350°C 20 bar demonstrated synergistically enhanced efficiency toward C2H4. K-Mn/4Fe4Co-ZSM-5 catalyst (modified with 4% Co Fe) exhibited highest performance, achieving 97% olefin selectivity. Furthermore, reduce CO Co-Fe-ZSM-5 catalyst. These findings underscore critical role in facilitating efficient activation directing reaction pathway products.

CO2 hydrogenation is one of the most effective solutions for mitigating excessive emissions. In this work, CuPdx/γ-Al2O3 (x = 0.05–5.7 wt %) catalysts were prepared and applied in to methanol. The results showed CuPd0.1/γ-Al2O3 achieved excellent activity. It demonstrated that Pd species highly dispersed on γ-Al2O3 support at atomic level separated from Cu nanoparticles by AC-HAADF-STEM, rather than forming CuPd alloy. Part hydrogen activated isolated atoms overflows onto influences reduction CuO, thus effectively increasing Cu+/(Cu++Cu0) ratio which correlated with prominent performance. On other hand, we found CH3OH retained catalyst surface can be further reformed into CO, significantly reduces selectivity CH3OH. To limit reforming, activity test a fixed bed different weight hourly space velocity was performed, where remarkable methanol yields 5.9 mmol/gcat./h obtained.
