Despite advancements in analytical technologies, the complex nature of cosmetic matrices, coupled with presence diverse and trace unauthorized additives, hinders application these technologies cosmetics analysis. This not only impedes effective regulation but also leads to continual infiltration illegal products into market, posing serious health risks consumers. The establishment regulations is often based on extensive scientific experiments, resulting a certain degree latency. Therefore, timely advancement laboratory research crucial ensure update adaptability regulations. A comprehensive understanding composition matrices their pretreatment vital for enhancing efficiency accuracy detection. Drawing upon China National Medical Products Administration’s 2021 Cosmetic Classification Rules Catalogue, we streamline wide array four principal categories following compositions: emulsified, liquid, powdered, wax-based cosmetics. In this review, characteristics, compositional elements, physicochemical properties inherent each category, as well an overview evolution methods different categories, will be explored. Our objective provide clear guide, equipping researchers profound insights core compositions cosmetics, which turn advance analysis improve detection regulatory approaches industry.

In this review, a 5-year overview on environmentally friendly approaches for the extraction of most relevant organic pollutants in soil, sediment, particulate matter, and sewage sludge coupled with chromatographic analysis is reported. Organic contaminants encompass various compounds derived from personal care products, industrial chemicals, microplastics, matter combustion, agricultural practices, plasticizer material. The principles green analytical chemistry (GAC) sample preparation (GSP) serve as guideline development more sustainable protocols. This study focuses attention microwave-assisted (MAE), ultrasound-assisted (UAE), matrix solid-phase dispersion (MSPD), microextraction techniques, such (SPME), stir bar sorptive (SBSE), hollow-fiber liquid-phase (HF-LPME), spray-assisted droplet formation-based (SADF-LPME), dispersive liquid–liquid (DLLME). These represent eco-friendly advanced target analytes environmental solid samples.
