Abstract Tomato is sweet and sour has high nutritional value. Soluble solids content (SSC) organic acid are important quality indexes of tomato fruit. The exogenous supply different forms nitrogen can have effects on plant growth development physiological metabolic processes because the mechanisms uptake assimilation in plants. In paper, concentrations were used to study tomatoes' physical chemical characteristics appearance. Hyperspectral imaging (HSI) technology was employed predict SSC content. Competitive adaptive reweighed sampling (CARS), uninformative variable elimination (UVE),variable combination population analysis (VCPA), iteratively retaining informative variables (IRIV), interval iterative spatial shrinkage (IVISSA) extract feature wavelengths. Based characteristic wavelength, prediction models established by partial least squares regression (PLSR), multiple linear (MLR) principal component (PCR). Then a custom convolutional neural network (CNN) model constructed optimised. results showed that negatively correlated with fertilizer concentration, highest recorded under T4 treatment. For tomatoes treated concentrations, CARS-PLSR best for SSC, R C P 0.8589 0.8499 RMSEC RMSEP 0.3180 0.3407. IRIV-PCR acids best, reaching 0.8011 0.7760 0.6181 0.7055. Among all models, performance obtained CNN satisfactory. This provides technical support future online nondestructive testing quality.

To identify suitable potassium fertilizers for grape (Vitis vinifera L.) production and study their mechanism of action, the effects four potassium-containing (complex fertilizer, nitrate, sulfate, dihydrogen phosphate) on sugar organic acid metabolism in fruits were investigated. Potassium-containing increased activity metabolism-related enzymes at all stages fruit development. During later development, total soluble solid content different fractions decreased titratable fractions. At ripening stage fruit, compared with control, complex phosphate by 1.5, 1.2, 3.5, 3.4 percentage points, 0.09, 0.06, 0.18, 0.17 respectively, also to a certain degree. Transcriptome analysis differentially expressed genes (DEGs) berries showed that applying enriched pathways involved quality, namely, carbon metabolism, fixation photosynthetic organisms, glycolysis gluconeogenesis, fructose mannose metabolism. affected expression levels regulating ion uptake transport. Overall, can promote accumulation reduce fruits, sulfate had best among tested.

Environmental temperature and nitrogen (N) fertilizer are two important factors affecting the sugar organic acid content of tomato fruit. N is an essential nutrient element for plant growth development, plays a key role in regulating growth, fruit quality stress response. However, comparative effect different levels on accumulation soluble young under high its mechanism still unknown.Three (N1, N2, N3) combined with temperatures (28/18°C, CK; 35/25°C, HT) were used to study effects fertilizer, HT their interaction components, content, metabolic enzyme activity expression level genes fruit, revealing how affects metabolism at physiological molecular levels. The exposure was increased by appropriate (N1) treatment, which due glucose, fructose, citric malic acid. High (N3) had negative impact reduce accumulation. Further studies showed that up-regulation sucrose metabolizing (CWINV2, HK2, SPS, PK) transporter (SUT1, SUT4, SWEETs) tomato, improving metabolism, absorption intensity transport exposure. Due increase PEPC gene expression, TCA cycle exposure.Nitrogen can improve heat tolerance fruits The results provide theoretical support correct application

Potassium (K) is recognized as a crucial element affecting fruit flavor quality and influences the accumulation of citric acid (CA). To gain deeper insights into how K regulates CA accumulation, we investigated synthesis in mitochondria, decomposition pathways, vacuolar storage under both pot field culture Newhall navel orange (Citrus sinensis). Our findings demonstrated that an appropriate level enhanced concentrations primarily by modulating synthesis, evidenced increased activities gene expressions citrate synthase (CS) phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase (PEPC) early stages development. Integration mitochondrial proteomic targeted metabolomic revealed promoted accelerating TCA cycle, which were supported upregulation cycle-associated proteins, including malate dehydrogenase, 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase E2 component, pyruvate dihydrolipoamide along with elevated levels cycle-related metabolites such CA, isocitrate, 2-oxoglutarate, succinate. Additionally, concentration vacuoles promoting acidification, P-type ATPase (CsPH8) expression. In summary, our provide novel facilitating its vacuole Citrus.

Abstract Fruit acidity significantly influences fruit flavor, but the specific impact of soil pH on remains unclear. This study investigated effects various levels and citric acid (CA) metabolism in lemon ( Citrus limon L.). High (pH 8) decreased total soluble solids concentrations fruits, while low 4) increased titratable CA concentrations. Although reduced synthesis due to citrate synthase phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase activities, elevated under conditions is not directly related synthesis. Instead, was found suppress activity cytosolic aconitase (Cyt-ACO), an iron-dependent enzyme, indicating a potential role for degradation inhibition pH-induced accumulation. Furthermore, iron (Cyt-Fe) concentration, which positively correlated with Cyt-ACO activity. In conclusion, contributes increasing lemon, partially by inhibiting Cyt-Fe Our work unravels influence accumulation provides important clues modulating through microelement fertilization citrus.
