The pollution of plastic waste has become an increasingly serious environmental crisis. Recently, been detected in various kinds environments, even human tissues, which is increasing threat to the ecosystems and humans. In ocean, eventually fragmentized into microplastics (MPs) under disruption physical chemical processes. MPs are colonized by microbial communities such as fungi, diatoms, bacteria, form biofilms on surface called "plastisphere". this review, we summarize studies related microorganisms plastisphere recent years describe species plastisphere, mainly including autotrophs. Secondly, explore interactions between plastisphere. depth ocean nutrients surrounding seawater can have a great impact community structure Finally, discuss types MP-degrading bacteria use "seed bank" theory speculate potential sources microorganisms. Challenges future research prospects also discussed.

Plastic residues have become a serious environmental problem in areas where agricultural plastic film are used intensively. Although numerous of studies been done to assess its impacts on soil quality and crop yields, the understanding meso-plastic particles effects plant is still limited. In this study, low density polyethylene (PE) biodegradable (Bio) mulch were selected study debris soybean germination growth with accumulation levels 0%, 0.1%, 0.5% 1% (w: w, size ranging 0.5-2 cm) by pot experiment under field condition. Results showed that viability seeds was reduced 82.39%, 39.44% 26.06% treatments added compared control (CK), respectively, suggesting inhibit seed germination. The had significant negative effect height culm diameter during entire stage soybean. Similarly, leaf area at harvest 1.97%, 6.86% 11.53% CK addition, respectively. total biomass addition both flowering harvesting stages, CK. For different type residues, height, root/shoot ratio group PE significantly lower than those groups treated Bio. conclusion, greater diameter, while Bio mainly adverse root especially stage. Therefore, further research required elaborate particles' stages crops quality.

A major apprehension is over microplastic pollution in the aquatic environment. These microplastics particles represent a novel medium environment, providing substratum for various organic contaminants and colonization of microorganisms. Microorganisms form biofilm on exterior pollutants, consequential region known as plastisphere, which they interrelate generate acid different enzymes degradation. The use microbes degradation has become contentious exit indication society focuses more environmentally friendly reduction methods. After both substantial elemental degradation, biodegradation occurs, weakening arrangement polymers. Natural resource have significant effect plastic waste current review article discusses microbial present ecosystems processes involved. While studying considering how these now turn out to be recent environmental position within environments, we emphasized significance microbial-assisted this article.

Microplastic pollution is an issue of concern due to the accumulation rates in marine environment combined with limited knowledge about their abundance, distribution and associated environmental impacts. However, surveying monitoring microplastics can be time consuming costly. The development cost- time-effective methods imperative overcome some current critical bottlenecks microplastic detection identification, advance research. Here, innovative approach for analysis presented that combines advantages high-throughput screening those automation. proposed used Red Green Blue (RGB) data extracted from photos Nile red-fluorescently stained (50-1200 μm) train validate a 'Plastic Detection Model' (PDM) 'Polymer Identification (PIM). These two supervised machine learning models predicted high accuracy plastic or natural origin particles (95.8%), polymer types (88.1%). applicability PDM PIM was demonstrated by successfully using detect (92.7%) identify (80%) spiked samples underwent laboratorial processing. classification represent semi-automated, reproducible method characterize straightforward, yet reliable way.
