The aim of this work was to analyze the changes in emissions from transport sector during COVID-19 lockdown Colombia. We compared estimated road transportation four groups pollutants, namely, greenhouse gases (CO2, CH4, N2O), ozone precursor (CO, NMVOC, NOx), aerosols (BC, PM2.5, PM10), and acidifying (NH3, SO2), first half 2020 with values obtained same period 2018. estimate determined using a standardized methodology consistent 2006 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories European Environment Agency/European Monitoring Evaluation Program. found substantial reduction GHG N2O, CO2 by 17%, 21%, 28%, respectively. precursors CO NMVOC presented decrease 21% 22%, respectively, while NOx were reduced up 15% study period.
