The concentrations, distribution, sources and ecological risk levels of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in tidal creek water from coastal flats the Yellow River Delta were investigated. concentrations 16 PAHs ranged 0.113 to 1.533, with a mean value 0.496 ± 0.035 μg L-1, which indicated moderate level pollution. main long-term petroleum combustion assessment showed that corresponded medium high levels, probability potential risk, posing harm aquatic organisms. Among 7 sampling sites, site 5, 6, at other sites risk. PAH pollution near Estuary farther south, wetland Laizhou Bay, deserves special attention, especially respect prevention control benzo[a]pyrene (BaP) water.
