An ideal adsorbent must be relatively cheap, abundant, easily undergo modification, and exhibit better removal efficiency. Animal wastes are much adsorbents in comparison with activated carbon respect to being cost-effective their zero regeneration process factor. The review aims report the efficiency of utilized cow-dung based for sequestration a wide spectrum pollutants from aqueous media. It discusses potential utilizing cow dung as cheap effective adsorbent. was observed that dung-based were efficient dyes, heavy metals, other solutions. maximum reported uptake capacity dyes metals 501 mg/g 625.26 Methylene blue lead, respectively, which both carbon. Langmuir Freundlich isotherm models emerged best-fit almost all studies. Based on outcome, pseudo-second-order model kinetic best fit cases. Other adsorption studies such mechanism, thermodynamic modelling, desorption, column adsorption, competitive also included this study. Finally, study identified some knowledge gaps could aid future investigation research field. Summarily, it can deduced has exhibited good an mitigation water.
