The dissolved organic matter (DOM) is one of the most sensitive indicators changes in soil environment, and it mobile active component that serves as an easily available source nutrients energy for microbes other living organisms. In this paper, DOM structural characteristics main properties were investigated by three-dimensional fluorescence spectroscopy (EEM) UV–visible spectrum technology farmland soils around Urumqi China, its possible sources pathways analyzed spectroscopic indices. results showed humic-like substances composition DOM, autogenesis not obvious. Main such aromatability, hydrophobicity, molecular weight, size, humification degree southern region higher than those northern Fukang on upper layers (0–0.1 0.2 m) deeper layer (0.2–0.3 m).This may be because tilled more subjected to fertilization conducive microbial activities. analysis these regions mainly from metabolites. These provide basic scientific data further research environmental chemical behavior pollutants pollution control region.
