Accurate spatio-temporal quantifying of ecosystem services (ESs) supply and social demand their coordination dynamics, determining which factors affect such the spatial distribution patterns these effects, is essential to guide targeted management decisions. Unfortunately, quantitative data demonstrating explicit relationships between biophysical for ESs, as well identifying non-stationary response influencing factors, currently inadequate. To this end, study employed China's Loess Plateau (LP) an example quantify ES in 2000 2015, during society ecology region have undergone tremendous changes. Then, coupling degree model was used explore demand. Also, we analyzed correlations various natural policy socio-economic using geographically weighted regression. The results showed that had great variations, both increased from 2015. Although incoordination great, did improve 2015 with positive transitions lower grades higher grades. occurrence highly correlated vegetation cover driven by "Grain Green" Program, followed slope (a factor) factors. This helps deepen our understanding LP spatially drivers incoordination, could support auxiliary decision-making regional management.

A comprehensive understanding of multiple ecosystem services (ES) across the landscape is a key highlight management. There still remain weakness to integrate ESs for mirroring capability ecosystems deliver in broad perspective. Here, we proposed index (CESI) integrating based on multiplicative method. Water supply service, carbon storage service and soil conservation were assessed using multi-sources remote sensing datasets InVEST models build CESI. To examine suitability performance CESI, took Guangdong-Hongkong-Macao Greater Bay Areas (GBA) as test region. Meanwhile, applied two previous methods used commonly assessing ESs: i) cumulative method ii) maximum value composite construct comparative indexes evaluating CESI with help spatial autocorrelation regression analysis from pattern numerical distribution The results showed that was well GBA got rid limitation single ES. observed high-value clustering central areas low-value outer regions. comparison illustrated linear autocorrelation, which good correlation between each similar clustering, but had subtle different clustering. Specifically, expressing better than other could indicate benefits manifest lagging provision This study pave way new approach evaluate socio-ecological systems
