Eriochrome Black T (EBT) and chromium (Cr) are considered to be potential pollutants due their toxicity severe impact on the environment. In current study, hydrotalcite-derived Mg-Ca-Al-LDO mixed metal oxide composite was prepared using a conventional co-precipitation method explored in terms of removal Cr EBT dye from aqueous solution batch mode adsorption process. The Mg-Ca-Al-LDH, spent adsorbents were characterized propose mechanism. Different parameters examined, such as adsorbent dosage, initial concentration, pH, reaction temperature contact time. kinetic results matched strongly with pseudo-second-order model for both (R2 = 0.991) 0.999). Langmuir isotherm exhibited maximum capacity 65.5 mg/g 150.3 EBT, respectively. structure morphology obtained after reveal that mechanism is associated electrostatic interactions surface complexation functional groups. Moreover, more than 84% can achieved five adsorption/desorption cycles. Finally, potentially used cost-effective wastewater treatment processes.
