Ultrasonically activated persulfate (S2O82−, PS) or peroxymonosulfate (HSO5−, PMS) processes have sparked a lot of interest in the degradation emerging contaminants recent years, because their excellent potential and adaptability. Abstract High-density polyethylene (HDPE) waste and chicken eggshell were used to synthesize three novel adsorbents, namely mesoporous graphene (MG), nano-eggshell modified (nEMG), nano-magnetic (nM-EMG) for methyl red (MR) adsorption from simulated wastewater.
