Selenium is an essential trace element for the human body, with chemical and physical characteristics of both metals nonmetals. has bioactivities related to immune system, antioxidation, anti-virus, anti-cancer. At same time, it also plays a role in reducing alleviating toxicity heavy metals. Compared inorganic selenium, organic selenium less toxic greater bioavailability. nanoparticles (SeNPs) have advantages high absorption rate, biological activity, low toxicity, can be directly absorbed by body converted selenium. gradually replaced traditional supplement broad prospects food medical industries. In this paper, chemical, physical, methods synthesis are reviewed, microbial nanoparticles, effects on crop growth, antibacterial, antioxidant, anticancer, anti-tumor systematically summarized. addition, we evaluate application nutrition enhancement, providing support animals, plants, humans.

The influence of uranium (U) mining on the fungal diversity (FD) and communities (FC) structure was investigated in this work. Our results revealed that soil FC richness FD indicators obviously decreased due to U, such as Chao1, observed OTUs Shannon index (P<0.05). Moreover, abundances Mortierella, Gibberella, Tetracladium were notably reduced samples owing U activities In contrast, Cadophora, Pseudogymnoascus, Mucor, Sporormiella increased all after Furthermore, not only dramatically influenced Plant_Pathogen guild Saprotroph Pathotroph modes (P<0.05), but also induced differentiation enrichment Animal_Pathogen-Soil_Saprotroph Endophyte guilds Symbiotroph trophic modes. addition, various populations enriched deal with external stresses caused by different areas depths Finally, nine U-tolerant fungi isolated identified a minimum inhibitory concentration range 400-600 mg/L, their adsorption efficiency for ranged from 11.6% 37.9%. This study provides insights into impact stability response activities, well aids screening strains can be used promote remediation sites plateaus.

ABSTRACT Cadmium (Cd)‐contaminated rice paddies have been a primary environmental concern worldwide. Biochar or modified biochar application favors reducing Cd availability in paddy soil, which has demonstrated physical and chemical terms. However, we know little about soil microbial responses after application. In this study, revealed the immobilization effect mechanism of fields by novel phosphorite magnetic (PMCB) from perspective response. The results suggested that PMCB facilitated conversion highly active to less reduced uptake improving physicochemical properties functional bacterial gene abundance. Compared with control, acetic acid extractable reducible contents content brown decreased 7.4%–18.4%, 16.2%–19.9%, 44.0%–47.9%, respectively, residual increased 16.3%–25.8% under treatment. A decrease sqr fccB abundances (downregulated 6.3% 12.4%, respectively) inhibited CdS oxidative dissolution 0.2% Conversely, other treatments stimulated abundant proliferation microbes (e.g., Anaeromyxobacter , Geobacter Thiobacillus ) these genes while suppressing sulfide‐producing abundance (sreA phsA 30.5%–73.4% 3.3%–11.3%, respectively). This result implies Fe(III) mineral reduction oxidation lead limited secondary release Cd. Additionally, aqueous‐phase analysis immobilized mainly coprecipitation PO 4 3− CO 3 2− (34.5%) ion exchange (32.2%), followed surface complexation (18.7%) cation π‐bonding (13.1%).

Introduction The plant restoration and ecological of lead-zinc mines are very important. Methods In this study, we used three local plants to carry out abandoned lead–zinc mining areas detected the adaptive mechanisms soil bacterial diversity function during through 16S rRNA sequencing. Results results revealed that significantly reduced diversity, including Shannon, Simpson, observed species indices, whereas planting restored microbial a certain extent, leading increases in Shannon index Observed indices. Mining activities abundances RB41 Bryobacter bulk compared with those nonmining areas, increased rhizosphere areas. Following types ecologically plants, community structure partially recovered. addition, different have been found functions process, iron complex transport system-permitting proteins ATP binding cassettes. Discussion This study confirms for first time adapt remediation process by non-randomly assembling communities functions, providing reference screening resources microbe joint bioremediation strategies mines.

Heavy metal contamination in soil is a serious environmental challenge, and abandoned mining areas are of particular concern. In order to rehabilitate the ecology these areas. this study, we used ICP-MS potentiometric method analyze physicochemical then endophytic bacteria remediation plants with help 16sRNA sequencing, investigate ecological ilmenite mine effect microbiology by seven common plants. The results revealed that abandonment significantly increased contents total phosphorus, potassium, available iron, lead surrounding soils. It also affected richness diversity bacterial communities. Pvi had highest richness, while Tsi lowest ( P < 0.05). A 28 phyla, 69 classes, 171 orders, 521 genera were identified. nine core OTUs found: Stenotrophomonas , Chryseobacterium Lactobacillus Clostridium_sensu_stricto_12 Prevotella Bradyrhizobium Nocardioides Delftia . Beta analysis community structure differed during process at site. Functional prediction upregulation Dco transporter protein function, DNA-binding transcriptional regulators, glyoxalase or related metal-dependent hydrolases, acyl coenzyme synthetases, ATPase components, amino acid synthesis, cellular respiration-related functions.
