Abstract As China transitions towards high-standard growth development, the digital economy profoundly influences formation of a new paradigm for reducing carbon emissions in this era. This study examines how impacts productivity within framework incentive-based environmental regulations. Spatial econometric methods were employed empirical analysis using provincial-level data from 2011 to 2021. The study’s findings suggest that: (I) Within resource tax weight matrix, shows positive local effect on productivity, conclusion that withstands robustness testing. (II) Under spatial Durbin model with heterogeneous coefficients, certain provinces exhibit either or negative spillover effects. (III) Both vehicle and vessel taxes show dual-threshold effect, while demonstrate only single-threshold effect. Additionally, all these factors present nonlinear moderating positively relationship. per outcomes, offers following proposed actions foster synergistic development driven by technologies effectiveness production, thus facilitating high-quality, sustainable economic growth: Enhance investment economy. Implement suitable resource, environmental, taxes.

Abstract With scholars paying increasing attention to energy sustainability, integrating sustainable utilization into the energy‐related assessment framework is particularly useful for achieving SDG7. This study empirically assesses efficiency ( EE ) comprised of utilize stage and in China using a dynamic two‐stage data envelopment analysis model, its influencing factors including digital economy with fixed‐effect models. The findings reveal slight downward trend from 2011 2020, primarily due poor performance stage. subregional illustrates that clean use (CEU) more beneficial than reducing carbon emissions (CER). Dagum Gini coefficients indicate growing disparity between regions. Additionally, “U‐shaped” relationship found, but two‐thirds provinces have not yet surpassed turning point. Moreover, different degrees CEU CER will influence impact on . Environmental regulations green technology innovation play positive moderating roles relationship. recommends stimulate through higher adoption sources reduction, as well highlight value economy.

Sustainable urban development requires good interaction between water, energy, infrastructure and socio-economic areas. In the context of more frequent heavy rainfall flooding events, managing subsystems within city in an integrated manner realizing sustainable have become popular research topics. Based on above analysis, this paper constructs a industry economic growth system. It also introduces as exogenous variable into model order to simulate process interactions achieve development. By measuring dynamic changes spatial distribution characteristics efficiency values total water–energy–industry system each subsystem 29 provinces China, following conclusions are drawn: (1) Most situation “high-efficiency–negative growth” or “low-efficiency–positive growth”, constraints for them reach state “high efficiency–positive due water subsystem. (2) The low-efficiency mainly concentrated central region, spillover effect neighboring regions is notable than that high-efficiency provinces. (3) addition improves most provinces, with obvious improvement (4) value relatively less affected by amount rainfall, but excessive will negative impact. Finally, relevant policy recommendations made inform government departments formulating policies related addressing climate change achieving

The ecoefficiency of industrial enterprises serves as an indicator regional industry’s capacity for sustainable development, with judicious environmental regulations being essential facilitating green transformation and the realization high-quality development. In this investigation, a global Super-SBM model is utilized to assess firms in 30 Chinese provinces from 2003 2021. Furthermore, we examine how affect using moderating effect determine spatial implications Clad-SDM model. findings are follows: (1) China’s has increased approximately 0.2 nearly 0.4, command-based augmenting contrast limited impact market-based regulations. (2) Economic advancement amplifies positive influence on heightens negative effects regulations; concurrently, international trade technological milieu positively moderate exerted by regulations, respectively. (3) Both regulatory types exhibit significant spillover effects, clear differences their ecoefficiency.
