Abstract
This
study
investigates
the
effects
of
biochar,
phosphogypsum,
and
calcium
superphosphate
on
composting
tomato
straw
to
improve
compost
quality
reduce
time.
Four
treatments
were
tested:
T1
(tomato
+
0.5%
EM
bacterial
agent),
T2
10%
biochar
EM),
T3
T4
phosphogypsum
EM).
Results
showed
that
these
additives
extended
high-temperature
phase
improved
maturity,
with
being
most
effective.
exhibited
highest
increase
in
humic
acid
(127.01%)
greatest
degradation
organic
matter
(63%)
cellulose
(69.82%),
outperforming
control
(p
<
0.05).
Microbial
analysis
revealed
Firmicutes ,
Actinobacteriota ,
Proteobacteria
dominated
phylum
level,
while
Bacillus,
Weissella,
Staphylococcus,
Halocella
key
genera.
Corynebacterium
was
identified
as
main
microorganism
responsible
for
spoilage
maturation.
