China has experienced a rapid urbanization over the past three decades, resulting in prominent "urban core-suburban-rural" (USR) triad structure of human settlements. The USR disparities, which are related to spatial variations activity intensity, have significant impacts on spatiotemporal various environmental issues such as carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) emissions, storage, water quality, etc. However, there is lack national-level, long-term dataset compared large number "Urban-Rural" dual datasets. In this study, an annual from 1992 2021 delineated by using nighttime light data, first full coverage, China. consistency with other remote sensing products (global urban boundaries) and socio-economic data (demographic point interest data) demonstrates that reliable for characterizing extents settlements distinct intensities. maps shown Chinese core area increased 9-fold 16,500 km 2 165,000 2021. application Fossil Fuel Combustion CO (ffco emissions indicates ffco2 core, suburban rural 1.34, 0.36 0.17 billion tons 2000 2019 China, respectively. can be used research not been possible before because

Reviewing the coupling coordination between urban ecological resilience (UER) and new-type urbanization (NU) has gradually become a necessary condition for understanding structure service patterns of systems. Discussion on temporal spatial evolution in UER NU agglomerations with different characteristics is beneficial operational mechanisms ecosystems. This work constructs novel evaluation framework process NU, scientifically measures performance each indicator using entropy method CRITIC method. By degree (CCD) model, this paper explores spatio-temporal effects relationship which narrowed cognitive gap. Using Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle China as an example, validity practicality are verified. The results show that CCD generally shows rapid growth trend time tends to be balanced; development significant differences influenced by factors such location advantage, natural resources, human social activities. These findings can provide decision-making information reference system services, livability, government planning.
