Chemicals known as phthalate acid esters (PAEs), which are present in many products we use every day, were identified priority pollutants that have negative effects on living things. A source of (PAEs) discharged into receiving waterways and the environment is wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) effluent. This study measured content PAEs wastewater's liquid phase microplastics (MPs) throughout process, well evaluating ecological risk (ER) PAEs. The highest removal efficiency wastewater, MPs during process was found for DEP with 82.35% 94% efficiency, respectively. obtained data suggest DBP, BBP effluent a high environmental at all three trophic levels (fish, invertebrates, algae/cyanobacteria), Risk Quotient (RQ) value DBP algae/cyanobacteria over 1000. Consequently, health fish other aquatic life, local population, may be threatened by Karun River.
