In this study, copper nanoparticles were synthesized from Trapa natans L. shells and loaded within polyamide-12 for use as an adsorbent. The nanocomposite was used the first time to remove toxic methyl orange brilliant green dye molecules synthetic aqueous solutions. order characterize plant-based nanocomposite, its functional groups, surface texture, elemental composition, structure, area, crystallinity determined. Adsorption efficiency found be affected by factors like pH (2–10), (5–240 min.), temperature (288–308 K). It at 6 that adsorbent reached point of zero charge. During adsorption process, electrostatic attraction played influential role. isotherms kinetics data well-fitted Langmuir pseudo-second-order models, respectively. A maximum capacity 166.60 mg/gm calculated 93.90% removal 55.24 97.30% removal. process endothermic, spontaneous, physical. rapid desorption confirms potential, practicality a promising decolorizing colored wastewater on industrial scale.
