Surface albedo plays a pivotal role in the Earth’s energy balance and climate. This study conducted an analysis of spatial distribution patterns temporal evolution albedo, normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), snow cover (NSC), land surface temperature (LST) within Qilian Mountains (QLMs) from 2001 to 2022. evaluated spatiotemporal correlations with NSC, NDVI, LST at various scales. Additionally, quantified driving forces relative contributions topographic natural factors variation QLMs using geographic detectors. The findings revealed following insights: (1) Approximately 22.8% exhibited significant changes albedo. annual average NSC minor decline rates −0.00037 −0.05083 (Sen’s slope), respectively. Conversely, displayed marginal increase rate 0.00564, while NDVI experienced notable 0.00178. (2) seasonal fluctuations LST, collectively influenced overall Mountains. Notably, highly similar trends between whether intra-annual monthly variations, multi-year anomalies, or regional mean trends, indicate that reflected by played major role. area proportion corresponding elevation PSI (permanent ice regions) slightly increased, potentially suggesting slow upward shift high mountain snowline QLMs. (3) type (LCT), Digital Elevation Model (DEM, which means elevation) key roles shaping pattern was most significantly interaction slope NDVI.

Quantifying the impact of landscape metrics on water quality can offer scientific supports for conservation and land use planning. However, previous studies mainly relied coarse maps, were lack understanding effects from physiographic metrics. Here, based in-situ monitoring data in Fujiang river basin, we used redundancy analysis, variation partitioning Shapley Additive exPlanations methods to assess quality. We these analyses dry wet season, circular buffer zone, riparian at sub-basin scale, are able analyze understand complex interactions between features quality, as well spatial temporal scale effects. The results indicated that be ranked following order: composition (15.8%–32.2%) > configuration (1.2%–19.5%)> (−2.0%-0.6%). ABSTRACT Rapid industrialization and globalization have led to significant concerns regarding the improper utilization of land resources. This is particularly troubling for agriculture water resources from a sustainability perspective. The growing population boosts food, agriculture, demand. Therefore, scholars policymakers are consistently investigating factors affecting production attain sustainable development. present research aims investigate nexus between green energy in China. Water is a vital natural resource that sustains both human life and the environment. Monitoring freshwater quality essential to assess water conditions ensure compliance with established standards. It necessary test nutrient physicochemical parameters of against national and/or EU standards before it used for various purposes, including drinking, domestic, agricultural, industrial applications. This study focuses on assessment Shkumbini River, examining distribution levels nutrients along its course. The was conducted in March 2022 through in-situ measurements parameters, combined chemical analyses content. results indicate geographical location, urbanization, activities, weather variations within river catchment are primary factors influencing changes quality. To investigate the longitudinal gradient patterns and factors influencing fish taxonomic functional groups, a survey involving 28 sampling sites was conducted in Anning River November 2020 April 2021. A total of 60 species were collected, these classified into 4 locomotor groups trophic resulting 11 combined based on characteristics. The results two-way cross similarity analysis (ANOSIM) revealed significant changes both along gradient, while no seasonal variation observed either group. Spatial river primarily due to turnover processes, as indicated by percentage analysis. Variance partitioning demonstrated that local habitat conditions land use/cover explained 37.56% 41.33% spatial organizations, respectively. Notably, influence landscape features organization less than variables. Nevertheless, played more important role environmental explaining variations associated with organization. Our study helps understanding formation mechanisms driven multiple-scale mountain rivers. In addition, our showed response different scale differ from groups.
