This paper presents a methodology for the preparation of new active component ion-selective membranes, based on di-substituted sulfonium derivative closo-decaborate anion at apical vertices with octadecylalkyl substituents 1,10-B10H8(S(C18H37)2)2. approach is characterized by physicochemical methods analysis (11B, 1H, 13C NMR spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis). The compound obtained used as an PVC membrane selective to terbinafine hydrochloride. sensor developed highly drug be detected, has linearity range 4.0 × 10−8–1.0 10−2 detection limit 1.0 10−8, can detect hydrochloride in pH 3 6.

The Utilization of Dissolved Organic Matter Spectral and Molecular Properties in Freshwater Eutrophication Studies: A Mini Review DOI Open Access

Eutrophication is a major environmental issue affecting freshwater ecosystems worldwide. While its impact on the composition of dissolved organic matter (DOM) well recognized, relationships between DOM’s optical and molecular properties across eutrophication gradients remain underexplored. This review synthesizes recent research (derived from UV-Vis absorption fluorescence spectroscopy) characteristics (analyzed using Fourier-transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry, FT-ICR MS) in systems varying trophic states. Generalized additive model (GAM) analysis was used to assess correlations state index (TSI). The carbon (DOC), a254, SUVA254, SR, HIX, BIX, FI averaged 11.44 ± 11.97 mg/L, 23.23 16.95 m−1. 2.98 0.99 L·mg−1·m−1, 1.42 0.38, 2.38 1.31, 1.08 0.16, 2.11 0.44, respectively, mesotrophic middle-eutrophic sites. GAM results revealed significant linear correlation DOC properties, including FI, with TSI, suggesting that DOM accumulation intensifies eutrophication. such as O/C H/C ratios, double bond equivalents (DBEs), CHOS% content, exhibited nonlinear TSI. These trends imply shift sources terrestrial macrophyte-derived inputs those dominated by algal- sediment-derived progresses. We concluded indices alone may not serve reliable indicator states; future studies should focus integrating both offer more comprehensive assessment Given limited number variables examined this study, work only offers preliminary investigation into relationship changes More systematic focusing molecular-level analyses states broader geographic scale are needed.
