To obtain a comprehensive understanding about that occurrence, sources, and effects on human health of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in road environmental samples from Harbin, concentrations 32 PAHs dust, green belt soil, parking lot dust were quantified. The total PAH ranged 0.95 to 40.7 μg/g 0.39 43.9 respectively, dominated by high molecular weight (HMW-PAHs). Despite the content arterial roads being higher, composition profile was hardly influenced types. For range 0.81-190 μg/g, three-ring five-ring produced maximum contribution. Compared with surface lots (mean: 6.12 μg/g), higher detected underground 33.1 μg/g). diagnostic ratios showed petroleum, petroleum combustion, biomass/coal combustion major sources samples. Furthermore, according Incremental Lifetime Cancer Risk model, cancer risks three kinds for adults children above threshold (10-6). Overall, this study demonstrated environment Harbin have certain impact local citizens.

Introduction This study explored the relationship between environmental polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), identified systemic inflammation as a mediator of increased risk COPD from PAHs. Methods Data were obtained 60,936 middle-aged older Americans recruited in National Health Nutrition Examination Survey 2005–2016. Environmental PAHs measured terms urinary concentrations metabolites (NAP: 1-hydroxynaphthalene, FLU: 2-hydroxyfluorene, PA: 1-hydroxyphenanthrene, PYR: 1-hydroxypyrene). We used multifactor logical analysis to figure out link COPD, non-linear was examined using Restricted cubic spline. Spearman correlation utilized analyze connection immune-inflammation index (SII). Results The results showed that population had higher NAP (3.550 vs. 3.282, p < 0.001), FLU (2.501 2.307, PA (2.155 2.082, = 0.005), PYR (2.013 1.959, 0.008) levels than non-COPD population. In unadjusted logistics analysis, with log [OR 1.461, 95% CI (1.258–1.698), 0.001]. Upon taking into account, confounders like sex, age, race, still possible 1.429, (1.224–1.669), Similarly, FLU, PA, significantly (all OR > 1, 0.05), both adjusted. Furthermore, spline demonstrated strong ( 0.05). Additionally, revealed favorable association SII R 0.43, 0.006), while NAP, not associated Ultimately, mediating effect capacity 5.34% for SII-mediated COPD. Conclusion findings suggest is when exposure at high levels, may be involved process.

The bioremediation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAHs) from soil utilizing microorganisms, enzymes, microbial consortiums, strains, etc. has attracted a lot interest due to the environmentally friendly, and cost-effective features. Enzymes can efficiently break down PAHs in by hydroxylating benzene ring, breaking C-C bond, catalyze hydroxylation variety ring compounds via single-electron transfer oxidation. However, practical application is limited its instability ease loss function under harsh environmental conditions such as pH, temperature, edaphic stress Therefore, this paper focused on techniques used immobilize enzymes remediate soil. Moreover, previous research not adequately covered topic, despite employment several immobilized aqueous solution cultures other types organic pollutants. Bibliometric analysis further highlighted trends 2000 2023 field growing identified important challenges regarding enzyme stability interaction with matrices. findings indicated that may catalyzed oxidation OH groups rings, generate benzyl radicals (i.e.,
