This study investigates the impact of heat exposure on health outcomes among older adults in 10 Indian states, using data from Longitudinal Aging Study India (LASI-Wave I) and climate National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Propensity score matching ordered probit models were employed to control for demographic factors isolate effects exposure. Our results show a significant association between worsening self-reported mental health, including increased feeling depression, fatigue, fear, decreased life satisfaction.
