This study reviews 16 empirical articles extract data on the chemical composition morphological features of microplastic particles found in organisms. The analysis focuses herbivorous, omnivorous, carnivorous taxa, emphasizing polymer diversity accumulation patterns. Polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyethylene terephthalate (PET) were most commonly detected polymers levels, fiber as dominant form.
