The dynamics of the physiological adaptability plants and rhizosphere soil environment after waterlogging remain unclear. Here we investigated mechanisms regulating plant condition shaping microbiome in a pot experiment. In experiment, added melatonin to waterlogged plants, which promoted relief. treatment significantly enhanced photosynthesis antioxidant capacity apple nitrogen (N) utilization efficiency by upregulating genes related N transport metabolism. Multiperiod analysis showed dynamic effects on diversity microbial community during recovery. Random forest linear regression analyses were used screen for potential beneficial bacteria (e.g., Azoarcus, Pseudomonas Nocardioides) specifically regulated revealed positive correlation with nutrient levels growth. Furthermore, metagenomic regulatory involved cycling soil. Melatonin positively contributed accumulation dry weight expression nifD nifK (N fixation). summary, regulates functions structure function community; it recovery stress.

ABSTRACT In alpine meadows, microorganisms are essential to sustain the stability of terrestrial geochemical processes and vegetation–soil–microbial systems. The present study in order investigate how various management measures impact microbial communities' composition functionality, we utilize metagenomic sequencing techniques examinate function soil communities southern Qilian Mountains Qinghai‐Xizang Plateau response practices fencing enclose (FE), winter grazing (WG), transition zone between natural artificial grasslands (TZ), unicast oats (AU). Vegetation diversity physicochemical characteristics were dramatically altered by measures. prokaryotic community structure was considerably similar FE WG, as well TZ AU. Near‐natural (FE) establishment (AU) disturbances changed fungal structure. Enzymes related carbon metabolism did not respond significantly measures, whereas those nitrogen relative abundance enzymes participating higher under AU than WG. We concluded that grassland aboveground graminoid leguminous vegetation belowground biomass allocation, resulting changes K uptake, causing striking nitrogen‐metabolizing enzymes; moderate disturbance (WG) beneficial for maintaining grasslands.
