The combined hydrochemical analysis, factor and isotopic signals of water nitrate were applied to explore the origin identify sources transformation in river groundwater Huashan watershed. Additionally, a Bayesian isotope mixing model (SIAR) was employed for quantitative assessment sources. results indicated that both dominated by HCO3-Ca HCO3-Ca·Mg types; originated from precipitation influenced evaporation. main constituent ions primarily carbonate silicate dissolution, with presence cation exchange groundwater. chemistry greatly physicochemical factors, while mainly controlled water–rock interaction. NO3− soil nitrogen (SN) manure septic wastes (MSWs), jointly affected ammonium fertilizers (AF), SN, MSWs. With exception denitrification observed at watershed outlet, absent piedmont area water. SIAR demonstrated contribution rates atmospheric (AP), AF, MSWs 12%, 21%, 25%, 42%, respectively, groundwater, they 16%, 27%, 10%, 47%, respectively. Overall, It is necessary prevent leakage when managing resources.

This study assessed the hydrogeochemical characteristics and microbial constituents of groundwater in Lephalale Municipality, South Africa. A total 71 borehole water samples were collected from 15 villages within Municipality between April 2019 October 2020. The results parameters such pH, EC, TDS, alkalinity range 6.69 to 7.87, 620.30 1937.00 μS/cm, 330.35 to1035.50 mg/L 50.00-390.00 mg/L, respectively. mean values major cations anions found be order Na+>Ca2+>Mg2+>K+ HCO3−>Cl−>NO3−>SO42−>F−, About 35% tested had F− concentrations above 1.5 recommended by world health organization (WHO) eliminate risk fluorosis. facies determined using a piper diagram revealed dominance mixed CaMgCl CaHCO3 types. Gibbs plot analysis that main composition-controlling processes area is rock-water interaction. constituent's showed faecal coliform ranging 0 CFU/ 100 mL with an average 0.56 CFU/100 mL, while (TC) counts 360.5 CFU/100mL 30.81 CFU/100mL, some boreholes poses fluorosis pathogen related diseases. Therefore, recommends improving quality prior consumption.
