The decline of natural coral reefs has spurred interest in artificial reef construction and rehabilitation efforts. However, many restoration programs are failing because poor water quality localized pollution factors. This paper examines one etiology failure, highlighting the need for careful site selection based on hydrodynamic, biological, criteria. Using Kish Island as a case study, we outline procedure determining placement to minimize external impacts, which could be applied any worldwide. Our integration computational modeling geographic information systems enables tracking dispersion increases power RQ Plume modeling, used alongside compound pollutant can identify hotspots with highest potential degrade marine environments, particularly reefs. Conservation efforts should prioritize mitigation, seen sunscreen pollutants at Island, where regulatory action public education contribute protection. comprehensive approach underscores critical role successful conservation strategies.
