The forage-livestock balance is an important component of natural grassland management, and realizing a between the nutrient energy demand domestic animals supply grasslands core challenge in management. This study was performed at Xieertala Ranch Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia. Using GRAZPLAN GrazFeed models, we examined during different grazing periods physiological stages livestock growth under conditions. Data on pasture conditions, climatic factors, supplemental feeding, characteristics, were used to analyze metabolizable (ME), for maintenance (ME m ), total intake (MEI ) livestock. results showed that forage differed adult cows stages. In early lactation period, although MEI greater than ME , it did not meet requirement ME. mid-lactation, but there still imbalance late periods. could requirements from April–September. Adult gestational lactating with or without calves unable their requirement, especially dry even though . exhibited differences daily rumen microbial crude protein (MCP) metabolism, by nonpregnant decreased as follows: > mid-lactation lactation, pregnant cows’ period. For degradation, digestion synthesis MCP, early-lactation similar those group, both higher late-lactation while had digestion, MCP period relative cows, calves, requirements, methane emission metabolism heat production highest August, increased expenditure winter. Overall, energy, emissions low. context global climate change managers must adopt strategies according ensure sustainable utilization development grasslands.

In this study conducted in the Umudum neighborhood of Erzurum province 2023, three different rangeland sites (cattle, cattle + sheep, and sheep) were examined. The investigated existing feed quantity, crude protein, NDF, ADF ratios, NYD values. It was observed that site with sheep grazing had lower protein ratio, value compared to grazing, while it higher NDF ratios.
