Organic fertilizers have been widely applied in Chinese agriculture. Soil aggregate composition and pore size distribution indicate the effects of fertilizer practices on soil quality. Exploring crop yield stability and the relationship between water–fertilizer effect annual precipitation type in a broomcorn millet–potato–spring corn rotation system under long-term fertilization on chestnut cinnamon soil loess tableland can provide scientific basis for rational northwest Shanxi region years with different precipitation.
