Different types of heterogeneous catalysts have been developed globally and tested for biodiesel production via transesterification reaction. In this study, varying contents MoO3 were incorporated into the mesoporous molecular sieve MCM-41 using pore saturation method to form (x_ MoO3/MCM-41). Characterization results confirmed formation structure phase filling by molybdenum, along with different surface areas, volume, diameters. The silanol groups impart acidity sieve, a molybdenum content above optimum reduced availability acidic sites on catalyst surface, micro channels, resulting in lower acidity. Catalytic performance was evaluated 22 factorial design three center points optimize reaction parameters including x_MoO3 temperature. maximum yield 87.87%, achieved 3% load containing 15 wt.% MoO3, at an oil-to-alcohol molar ratio 1:20 150°C 3 hours. Temperature had most significant influence yield.

Microalgae are considered valuable bioresources due to their ability produce high lipid content and grow under a variety of environmental conditions, making them strong candidates for sustainable biofuel production. However, the economic feasibility microalgae-based biofuels depends on optimizing growth conditions in large-scale cultivation systems. This study investigates effects varying inoculum cell concentrations growth, yield, fatty acid composition locally isolated microalga Chlorella sp. SW5 2 L 5 The results indicate that higher generally enhance biomass accumulation, with system achieving highest rate 0.42 ± 0.01 day⁻ 1 at an concentration 10⁶ cells/mL. Interestingly, while reduced production system, showed yield (51.23% 4.71% dry weight) (10⁷ cells/mL). Despite its moderate rate, culture starting 10⁷ cells/mL was selected profiling superior productivity. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis revealed produced total 93.18% C14-C18 acids, profile dominated by saturated (56.33%) monounsaturated (16.85%) which essential biodiesel quality. These findings provide insights into potential scaling up microalgal systems commercial production, highlighting strategies optimize

This study is related to producing a set of fatty acid esters from different vegetable oils and C1–C12 alcohols. A total 66 products were synthesized. The obtained characterized by composition, density, viscosity, saponification value, iodine low-temperature properties, oxidative stability. It was established that the as well alcohol, used has significant impact on properties. Comparing physicochemical properties with existing standards specifications, it proposed use for industrial applications. In particular, rapeseed oil methyl are an ideal candidate application biodiesel, while transesterification soybean oil, sunflower coconut higher alcohols led promising bio-lubricants. Castor alkyl could potentially be utilized base due their excellent viscosity
