Flash drought is characterized by rapid onset and short-duration conditions caused a combination of factors, including high evaporation, temperature, prolonged periods little to no precipitation, leading sudden severe decrease in soil moisture levels. In comparison conventional drought, it more susceptible the effects global warming has potential become common phenomenon coming years, necessitating further research. this paper, we focused on flash events, specifically forest parts northeastern China that are included within Greater Khingan Mountains (GKM), Lesser (LKM), Changbai (CM), using daily data as well SPOT- VEGETATION NDVI satellite from 2000 2020 determined their impact NDVI. Our major findings follows. (1) The GKM had maximum area being affected events. (2) frequency ranged 1 2 times, whereas total duration varied between 20 55 days over study 21-year period. (3) was most plant-growing seasons. (4) events negative influence contributes deeper understanding dynamics areas northeast for monitoring, prediction, management strategies region.

Nitrogen (N) fertilization plays a pivotal role in the nitrogen transport process and yield formation of field-grown Tibetan barley (Hordeum vulgare L., qingke Chinese); however, little is known about its interaction with irrigation regimes. Here, we performed control experiment to investigate effects regimes (primary double irrigation, mentioned as W1 W2) N levels (0, 90, 120, 150 kg ha−1, N0, N9, N12, N15) on accumulation, translocation, utilization Plateau during spring seasons 2022. The results showed that highest (6242.28 ha−1) aboveground biomass (12,354.13 ha−1 for anthesis; 15,827.9 maturity) were achieved W2N15 compared other treatments. maximum grain accumulation (117.66 ha−1), translocation (54.16 post-anthesis (63.5 W1N15 treatment. efficiency increased frequency decreased application; conclusion given by agronomic contrary this trend. had significant positive correlations (W1: r = 0.98; W2: 0.97) 0.84; 0.94), but negative harvest index −0.95; −0.95) −0.9; −0.85). path analysis revealed factors related (β 0.875) −1.426) direct contributors towards yield. influence application (total effect 0.922) was much stronger than regime 0.324). Our findings can guide future efforts designing sustainable water fertilizer management strategies Plateau.
