Globally, the companies that make commercial use of bamboo culms produce different kinds solid waste rich in lignocellulosic biomass, which some cases is not used and discarded landfills or incinerated open air; losing possibility recovering them using other productive sectors. The research objective were to a biochar from Guadua agustifolia Kunth sawdust, evaluate its potential environmental agricultural use, obtain biochar/TiO2 composite inactivate Escherichia coli as soil conditioner medicinal plants producing phenolic compounds flavonoids. Biochar (produced at 300 °C for 1 h) involved TiO2 450 h inactivation E. (initial concentration: 6.5 ± 0.3 Log10 CFU mL− 1). For agriculture, 2% was B. pilosa L. G. angustifolia plant growth 90 days. had high photocatalytic activity on coli, generating final count 1.97 0.2 after 60 min. (2%) increased total phenol flavonoid content phenols angustifolia, tested nursery stage. This study provides new information conversion sawdust an alternative bio-based materials with applications. In addition, obtaining could positively impact production chain Colombia because renewable globally accepted alternatives help capture gaseous emissions causing greenhouse effect.

Rapid industrialization and the indiscriminate use of fossil fuels have generated an impact that is affecting climate worldwide. Among substances are causing change several gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O) sulphur hexafluoride (SF6), among others. Particularly, one has attracted most attention from researchers, it responsible for more than three quarters greenhouse gases. Because this, many efforts been directed towards capture CO2, its separation, adsorption transformation into products less harmful to environment or even added value in industry. For this purpose, different types macrocycles explored mainly last 5 years. This review seeks present advances occurred recent years CO2 by methods, finally focus on through macrocycle systems azacompounds, heterometallic macrocycles, calixpyrrols, modified cyclodextrins metallic porphyrins,

Constructed wetlands (CWs), serving as an advanced wastewater treatment system, play a vital role in both the emission and sequestration of diverse GHGs. However, there are few papers reviewing analyzing developments field. In this study, bibliometrics were used essential tool for identifying establishing connections among key elements within discipline, well research status developmental trends fields. CiteSpace 6.3.1 was utilized to conduct analysis references from Web Science Core Collection pertaining GHG emissions CWs over period 1993 2023. This study showed following conclusions. (1) Organic nitrogen conversion produces N2O, which is eventually transformed into N2 released CWs. Anammox represents attractive route removal. (2) The CO2 final product oxidation organic matter influent can be fixed by plant photosynthesis. Anaerobic fermentation reduction produce CH4. two emitted through aerenchyma transport, bubble diffusion, other forms. (3) past 30 years, number publications citation frequency shows increasing trend. China United States published more papers. top ten authors contributed 20.607% total 1019, cooperation between different author groups needs strengthened. (4) emerging burst keywords 2020 “microbial fuel cell” community”, highlights current hotspots related (5) There still lack long-term applied discussion on promoting reduction. relevant reaction conditions mechanisms need explored possible directions genetic regulation information technology.
