Abstract Background The carbon emission of industrial energy consumption has an important impact on a region's reduction and optimization path. Based the STIRPAT model TAPIO decoupling model, this study analyzes driving factors relationship between emissions from economic growth in Sichuan Province. Results (1) Province are increasing first then decreasing, with increase 18.78% 2005 to 2022, intensity decreased 1.94 tons/10,000 yuan 0.29 yuan; (2) presents three development periods, mainly strong weak decoupling. According decomposition factors, is affected by coefficient value creation reduction; (3) proportion secondary industry, number enterprises, total assets main promoting Province, elastic coefficients 0.097, 0.057 0.040 respectively; population size factor -0.087. Conclusions overall have shown upward trend followed downward trend. From consisted coal, oil, natural gas, showing trend; 2006 2022 state decoupling, distinct periods overall; Among elasticity 0.057, 0.040, respectively. industry greatest factor. this, paper proposes create new green low-carbon low consumption, pollution, characteristics, enhance resilience, improve formulate reasonable scale that coordinates environmental protection, steadily promote policy recommendations for conservation reduction.

This study systematically analyzes the temporal variation characteristics, driving mechanisms, and decoupling relationship between carbon emissions economic output in China’s planting industry. Using a dynamic panel model, LMDI decomposition, coupling coordination it explores main influencing factors of their evolution. The findings reveal that from 2003 to 2022, industry exhibited phased trend rising first then declining, with limited overall reduction. Carbon demonstrated significant path dependency. Planting agricultural investment were identified as primary for emissions, while energy intensity mechanization levels had inhibitory effects. Decoupling analysis showed weak dominates, strong achieved only specific regions periods, highlighting regional disparities. Coupling indicated positive improved annually, whereas related rural electricity consumption declined recent years. suggests promoting precision agriculture clean technologies, optimizing structures, implementing region-specific policies, enhancing land resource planning can help us achieve coordinated goals high-quality development provide theoretical insights policy recommendations low-carbon serve reference global green transformation.

Elucidating the relationship between economic growth and CO2 emissions helps promote coordinated synergistic development of economy environment. This study utilizes Tapio decoupling model to analyze rate in 14 cities Liaoning Province from 2005 2020. Additionally, a is established with aim determining reduction targets for achieving strong or weak states. Results showed that although most state, performance specific year was not ideal, proportion negative increased 2017 faces significant challenges emissions, it needs reduce its (CE) by 5659.33 107 Kg 5397.80 achieve decoupling, respectively. Among cities, 8 have achieved decoupling. Cities such as Anshan, Yingkou, Benxi face greatest challenges, minimum required 25.72% CE, 41.77% Carbon Emissions per Capita, 16.62% Unit GDP. The research results can provide theoretical support improving energy efficiency.
