As a key water source for urban landscape entertainment and miscellaneous municipal uses, the reuse safety of reclaimed has attracted much attention. Given deficiencies in current research on bacterial aerosol-related risks, this study conducted systematic spatial distribution law aerosols spraying environments exposure characteristics various populations through simulated experiments population surveys, basis, quantitatively evaluated inhalation risk aerosols. Results indicated that concentration position within their residence time at different positions were related to sprayed source. Specifically, atomization factor decreased with increase horizontal distance from nozzle, reached saturated state eighth minute after nozzle started spraying. At height 1.5 m, distances 1 2 3 4 m coefficients (mL water/m3 air) 30.25, 8.52, 0.81, 1.33 × 10−3, respectively. However, particle size space was independent The peak between 2.1 4.7 µm, its accounts more than 50%. Based above results, instantaneous contact crowd exposed spray park lawn irrigation sprinklers roads obtained shooting experiments. showed under same environment, when people roads, health single relatively high. manifested as follows: adult males > females children; however, none them exceed acceptable level 10−3. findings paper can provide scientific basis safe
