Abstract
Over
90
million
tons
of
fabric
waste
are
generated
annually
by
the
apparel
industry
and
there
exists
an
urgent
need
to
develop
innovative
approaches
for
recycling
garments.
Reversible
adhesives
can
both
enable
automation
labor‐intensive
assembly
processes
facilitate
a
circular
economy.
Herein,
adhesive
formulation
based
on
thermoreversible
Diels–Alder
chemistry
has
been
developed
via
combination
furan‐functionalized
methacrylate
copolymer
(

)
with
bismaleimide

To
establish
fine
balance
between
adhesion
strength
reversible
bonding,
extensive
screening

Abstract
Due
