The accumulation and discharge amount of coal gangue are substantial, occupying significant land resources over time. Utilizing as subgrade filler can generate notable economic social benefits. Coal coarse-grained soil (CGSF) was used to conduct a series large-scale vibration compaction tests triaxial tests. results indicate that the maximum dry density CGSF initially increases then decreases with increase in fractal dimension. stress–strain curves samples exhibit distinct nonlinear growth pattern. Analysis effect suggests degree should not be lower than 93%. As confining pressure increases, extent failure strength improvement due increased decreases. Additionally, coarse particle content. A modified quadratic polynomial model gradation equation proposed describe after breakage. Based on this, new quantitative index for breakage established. revealed higher greater content lead exhibited size effect, impact sample pressure. relationship analyzed by using logarithmic constitutive model, correlation between parameters newly derived generated. incorporating established, its accuracy validated.
