In many parts of the world, concerns about COVID-19 pandemic and city quarantine policy have led to a general decline in physical mental health residents due insufficient social interaction. These adverse effects can cause potential public risks. Ways alleviate impact meet interaction needs must be widely addressed. This survey was conducted from 1–5 April 2020; it collected 386 responses Chengdu, China, during based on an online questionnaire. The results indicate that most believe their status is poor, they do not experience adequate contact with others. Most respondents indicated no difference health, while few reported differences levels. Visiting urban parks significantly improve overall assist meeting individuals’ needs. Although reduced frequency visits pandemic, even once week beneficial. paper emphasizes critical role period perspective building environment. conclusion affirms large outdoor, open spaces provide place for safe outdoor activities green environment as well serve buffer area maintain favorable quality life.
