Introduction New urbanization is a powerful support for regional economic growth and green transformation. Methods In this paper, we select data from 237 cities at prefecture level above in China 2010 to 2021 quasi-experimental design, investigate the effects of new policy pilots on urban total factor productivity ( GTFP ) its mechanism by constructing multi-period difference-in-differences model. Results The study finds that: a) construction has positive impact promoting GTFP, result verified series robustness tests; b) promotion industrial structure upgrading, facilitation technological innovation, reduction degree resource mismatch all partially mediate relationship between GTFP; c) environmental regulation market integration both modulate directions; d) heterogeneity analysis shows that, terms two-dimensional city attributes ‘location-characteristics’, increase more significant eastern central cities, non-resource cities; e) further that pilot policies have spatial spillover effect are mainly affected through mechanisms such as upgrading neighboring municipalities. Discussion This provides ideas next stage sustainable development China, thus China's high-quality with theoretical practical significance.

The development of the digital economy provides important opportunities and conditions for China to achieve goal carbon peak neutrality. Based on panel data from 30 provinces in mainland 2016 2022, this research investigates spatial spillover effect nonlinear impact energy optimization manufacturing industry using econometric threshold model. Abstract Exploring the spatial coupling relationship and interaction mechanism between green urbanization (GU) tourism competitiveness (TC) is of great significance for promoting urban sustainable development. However, lack research on GU TC limits formulation effective environmental management policy planning.
