Due to differences in physical and social environments, existing urban environment assessment tools can neither be validated nor do they provide opportunities solicit the hidden knowledge key concerns of wider community. This study addresses this gap by developing a framework measure environments' impact on mental well-being, particularly Indian context. Using mixed-method approach, research methodology includes four steps: a) Literature review, b) Stakeholder investigation, c) Identification components indicators, d) Prioritisation these indicators. paper focuses steps 3 4. Step engaged specialists determine relevance significance indicators associated with well-being. Consensus was achieved through Nominal Group Technique (NGT), involving diverse pool 30 experts planners, designers, architects, psychologists, sociologists, geographers. 4 employed Rank Order Centroid (ROC) method assign weights identified factors (components/indicators) within framework. The evolved 73 under 13 components. Greenspaces emerged as top-ranking component weightage value 29.29%, while connectedness ranked highest weight 61.11%.
