Assessing the urban residential environment quality (REQ) is essential for advancing sustainable development and enhancing residents’ living standards. Traditional REQ assessments rely on statistical data, prone to delays lacking holistic insight. This study takes blocks as analysis units conducted within area of Sixth Ring Road in Beijing. It synthesizes multi-source geospatial data devise a comprehensive framework assessing REQ, incorporating facets environmental health comfort, housing transportation convenience, city security, life convenience. Utilizing principle minimal relative informational entropy, this integrates Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) with entropy method determine weight each evaluative criterion. Subsequently, linear weighting technique employed ascertain scores criterion, thus facilitating detailed examination REQ. Finally, research probes into complex interrelation between assessed city’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) carbon emissions across varying scales. Findings reveal that (1) overall Beijing’s superior at center diminishes towards periphery. (2) The dispersion comfort security metrics relatively uniform, showing minor variations; however, marked disparity observed distribution metrics. (3) Regions characterized by higher GDP tend demonstrate levels Conversely, areas boasting higher-quality are more inclined exhibit increased emissions.

Abstract Focusing on the impact of digital economy urban resilience is beneficial to sustainable development cities. This paper empirically examines economic and its mechanisms by measuring level with entropy-weighted TOPSIS method using data 252 Chinese cities from 2011 2020. The findings show that effectively promotes at 1% significance level, this conclusion remains valid after a series endogeneity robustness tests. channel mechanism suggests can improve optimizing distributional effects promoting upgrading industrial structures. discusses nonlinear relationship between two MMQR model threshold model. results in higher quartile cities, has greater improvement. Meanwhile, there are values for resilience, which 0.026 0.082, respectively. Further, spatial effect also verified. ABSTRACT Sustainable development is a concern across all sectors in the modern world. While numerous measures have been developed to evaluate sustainable levels, significant gaps persist assessing sustainability of pathways. This study assesses China's through framework “strong sustainability” and proposes region‐specific pathways informed by Development Goals (SDGs) index underlying driving factors. The Pathway Index (SDPI) used establish social standards distinguish among regions. Using data from China 2000 2020, quantile regression employed analyze factors effectively. results indicate stepped distribution east west, with 77.42% regions following pathway. Notably, Beijing has entered “Brundtland Quadrat.” Ecological factors, such as vegetation cover, act constraints on HH LH patterns. Social cultural infrastructure maternal education play pivotal role guiding toward an ideal society. Accurately measuring SDPI determining regional patterns provide valuable insights for decision‐makers serve key references other developing countries their pursuit

Abstract Industrial The upgrading of industrial structure, as the main means urban economic transformation, plays a crucial role in process achieving resilience construction. We conducted study on nonlinear impact mechanism structure based panel data from 267 prefecture-level and above-level cities above China 2008 to 2021, using globalization threshold variable. obtained results demonstrated following: (1) there existed significant relationship between rationalization resilience, with double effect. (2) A robustness test was performed by removing extreme values sample, controlling for time series individual interaction terms while considering control variables, which did not change basic conclusions model. This that regression model constructed this is robust reliable. (3) From regional heterogeneity perspective, varied among different regions. Notably, imposed effect eastern central regions, manifested an inverted U-shaped trend. In northeastern region, only single variable, still occurred left side curve, no observed western region.
