In Egypt, El-Mansourah Conurbation (EMC) is the second largest urban complex after Cairo Conurbation. This study focuses on identifying seasonal trends in land surface temperature during daytime/nighttime both and rural areas (RA), as well corresponding heat island (UHI) intensity 2001 to 2021. A time series of Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (Terra MODIS) images was analyzed using statistical methods Mann-Kendall test (MKT) Theil-Sen estimator (TSE). The findings showed that diurnal cooling ranged from −0.66 −0.58 °C (p < .01) across all seasons. contrast, nocturnal UHI exhibited a warming trend seasons (except for spring) ranging 0.08 0.16 > .1). Calculations Temperature-Humidity Index decline population comfort over time, especially hot months, while there noticeable amelioration cool ones. To explore potential mitigation strategies, simulation capabilities ENVI-met were utilized. Based simple scenario, ambient Salah Salem Street (SST) decreased by more than 2 °C. One suggestion put forth research implement measures address adverse consequences naturally arise unavoidable dynamics areas.

Global warming and climate change are significantly impacting local climates, causing more intense heat during the summer season, which poses risks to individuals with pre-existing health conditions negatively affects overall human health. While various studies have examined Surface Urban Heat Island (SUHI) phenomenon, these often focus on small large geographic regions using low-to-moderate-resolution data, highlighting general thermal trends across administrative areas. However, there is a growing need for methods that can detect microscale patterns in environments familiar urban residents, such as streets alleys. The temperature-humidity index (THI), incorporates both temperature humidity serves critical measure of human-perceived heat. few explored THI variations within settings identified potential hotspots at level where SUHI effects pronounced. This research aims address this gap by estimating finer resolution scale data from multiple sensor platforms. We developed model random forest algorithm assess 0.5 m, utilizing variables different sources, including Landsat 8 land surface (LST), unmanned aerial system (UAS)-derived LST, Sentinel-2 NDVI NDMI, wind exposure index, solar radiation modeled aircraft UAS-derived Digital Models, vehicle density building floor area social big data. Two models were constructed variables: Modelnatural, includes related only natural factors, Modelmix, all variables, anthropogenic factors. two compared reveal how each source contributes development effects. results show significant improvements, Modelnatural had fitting R2 = 0.5846, root mean square error (RMSE) 0.5936 absolute (MAE) 0.4294. Moreover, when factors introduced, Modelmix performed even better, 0.9638, RMSE 0.1751, MAE 0.1065 (n 923). study future analysis offers important insights into planning smart city development.
