Trees positively improve the annual thermal comfort of built environment in tropical areas, where climate change is slight throughout year. However, for areas with high changes all year, current studies have only explored summer cooling performance trees without impact different types on comfort, especially cold seasons. Therefore, to quantify impacts and scientifically guide optimization green space layout hot winter this study selected Changsha City as area analyzed how affected by evergreen deciduous trees, which are two common areas. The analytical results indicated that difference effect outdoor was insignificant summer, monthly mean PET three months slight, being 0.28 °C, 0.14 0.29 respectively. greatly exacerbated compared a decrease nearly 1.0 °C an hourly reduced up 3.57 °C. mainly attributed absorption reflection solar radiation tree canopy, well humidifying leaf. Green space improves outdoor thermal comfort and promotes the residents’ physical mental health. Currently, many cities are using green volume indicators to evaluate quality of residential help form latest evaluation standards. However, from perspective plant volume, impact structures on mitigation has not been emphasized. Furthermore, cost will change with structures. Therefore, we changes in costs aim find suitable allocations which balance savings. This study analyzed regional climate Then, discussed relationship between different The analytical results indicated that as trees increases, also increasing. The desert climate region attracts a multitude of tourists due to its distinctive landforms and climatic conditions, however, it also presents challenges for environmental protection. This article constructs theoretical model that examines the influence thermal stress on tourists’ responsibility behavior intention (ERBI), with anticipated pride guilt serving as mediating factors. An empirical study is conducted in Turpan, Xinjiang, which represents typical inland arid area China. results indicate that: (1) does not have significant direct impact ERBI, nevertheless, play crucial roles between this intention. (2) Furthermore, knowledge positively moderates relationship pride, guilt, ERBI. research contributes understanding how anticipatory emotions affect their ERBI regions while deepening our comprehension driving mechanisms behind such intentions among tourists. Moreover, provides references promoting environmentally responsible behaviors visiting regions.

Extreme heat waves make curved arm awnings a popular flexible shading technique in street canyons. Yet, quantitative studies on the effects of awnings' locations are sparse. This research simulates wind and thermal environments canyon with without awnings, examining impacts varying awning positions different values transmissivities. Modifications have been assessed microclimatic parameters as velocity around awnings. RNG k-ε model is used validated against benchmark tunnel experiments. Validated results show that correlation coefficients above 0.93 achieved. Awnings higher transmissivity significantly reduce surface temperature, thereby lowering local temperatures underneath. Meanwhile, leeward side more substantially affect radiant air temperatures, whereas those windward side, often building's shadow, lesser impact temperatures. These findings offer insights for improving pedestrian-level stress optimising awning's design arrangement.
