Purpose
Based
on
a
contingent
resource-based
view,
this
paper
explores
whether
and
how
data-driven
supply
chain
orientation
(DDSCO)
affects
performance
(SCP).
Design/methodology/approach
Survey
data
were
collected
from
307
manufacturers
in
China,
Confirmatory
factor
analysis
confirmed
the
reliability
validity
of
measures,
bootstrapping
was
used
to
test
all
hypotheses.
Findings
DDSCO
positively
significantly
influences
SCP
risk
management
capabilities
(i.e.
robustness
resilience).
Additionally,
partially
mediate
relationship
between
SCP.
Furthermore,
findings
provide
evidence
for
moderating
effect
dynamism
DDSCO–SCP
relationship,
with
resilience
capability
functioning
as
mediators.
Originality/value
Building
upon
existing
digital
strategies
literature,
study
provides
new
perspective
(supply
capabilities)
maintaining
sustainable
under
dynamism.
These
offer
theoretical
managerial
contributions
that
add
value
literature.
