Myeloperoxidase antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (MPO-ANCA) microscopic polyangiitis is a rare but life-threatening small vessel vasculitis in childhood that affects multiple systems. Emerging clinical evidence suggests possible association between SARS-CoV-2 infection or multisystem inflammatory syndrome children (MIS-C) as well the future development of autoimmune diseases. A 14-year-old boy with diagnosis MIS-C two years prior to presentation was admitted our hospital due edema and left lower limb joint pain along concomitant upper surface petechia. The patient had positive higher IgG than titers MPO-ANCA-positive titers. Kidney biopsy favored pauci-immune crescentic glomerulonephritis. Restrictive lung disease diffusion abnormalities also observed. Pancreatitis gastrointestinal wall were additional manifestations. breakthrough could contribute onset through various immunological mechanisms. Further research still needed elucidate role pathophysiology newly diagnosed vasculitis.

This review article focuses on cutaneous manifestations in schoolchildren and adolescents 6 to 18 years old connected with various aspects of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic, including personal protective equipment (PPE), SARS-CoV-2 infection, vaccine. The use PPE has been associated mask-related acne due microbiome dysbiosis disruption skin homeostasis, leading emergence new or exacerbation preexisting acne. Chilblain-like lesions, erythema multiforme-like eruptions, multisystem inflammatory related are most commonly described infection. proposed mechanisms involve either direct interaction virus through receptor angiotensin-converting enzyme epidermal basal layer hyperactive immune responses. impact infection also adnexa, hair changes such as alopecia areata telogen effluvium, well nail presenting onychomadesis periungual desquamation. Cutaneous adverse effects vaccine have case reports differ from those adults. Therefore, there is a need for increased awareness regarding prevalent COVID-19 children because they tend be mild nonspecific nature.
