This is the first article that investigates whether patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) used in clinical trials effectively capture specific side-effects of radiotherapy and proton beam therapy (PBT) provides context for researchers selecting PROMs trials. from were identified previous research assessed against United Kingdom Royal College Radiologists' guidelines tumour-site-specific side-effects. The analysis revealed none 51 captured full range side-effects, with only 25 addressing fatigue 6 radiation-induced skin reactions. Three failed to identify any common eight one. Overall, 88% lacked specificity PBT, posing a risk missing significant differences between treatment techniques. study emphasises need more targeted future Until new or improved are available, great thought caution should be taken when trial endpoints.

Performing procedures in healthy but high risk population is a major challenge for traditional cancer screening methods [1]. One of the most difficult to accept colonoscopy, which nevertheless best way identifying and eventually removing early colorectal (CRC) lesions. The lack clarity about why it should be performed however very worrying, as even first-degree relatives patients with CRC have reservations giving their consent (only 15.4% had colonoscopy previous 5 years) [2]. These types reservations, would greater no family history CRC, could result an inadequate procedure that rescheduled or cancelled all associated underlying costs [3]. In addition, increase among younger requires new, more effective communication strategies. Although phone calls, text messages, social networks, been used successfully, use large language models (LLMs) has not adequately evaluated open populations health professionals.
